Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) is a four year undergraduate program designed to introduce students with the properties and impact of pharmaceutical drugs. The program help students in developing the skills essential to council patients about medication and use of drugs. The curriculum and syllabi for the course are as per Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), the statutory body governing pharmacy profession in India. The core pharmacy subjects include Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacognosy and Pharmacology. Under this program the emphasis is laid on human anatomy, drug dosage, drug action and reaction, active ingredients used in the formulation of the drug and how to maintain their quality in the storage.
In addition the program also concentrate on preparing the students and training them for industry-ready holistic Pharmaceutical care in the practice setting. The industrial visit and equally important practical sessions ensure students receives a perfect exposure to the real world situations while learning.

The laboratories are well planned as per norms and standards of statutory bodies of country.

- Pharma is divided into 8 semesters. The curriculum is centred around teaching the key aspects of medicines and drugs. The students get an in-depth knowledge of chemical composition, structures, and formulation of medicines and drugs.

What is the eligibility for B Pharma?
The minimum qualification to enrol for a B pharma course is that the student must have passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination. The aggregate marks should be at least 50%; however, it varies with different institutes and universities. There is also an age-limit criterion for B pharma- 20 years for the unreserved category and 22 years for the reserved category.

If you want to become a pharmacist, then it is a mandatory course. The course is a blend of academic and experimental work.
